Tilting support for KAP applications
TecnoFly 2008 Srl has devised a simple and effective system for overhead KAP
applications (Kite Aerial Photography) which allows the anchorage of a camera.
In these images is represented a light support, for compact cameras, such as the
Pentax WG1, that we have chosen for use in aerial photography since it is
provided with the intervalometer. The frame allows rotation about two axes, one
about the longitudinal axis of the cable sealing of the kite (roll axis), and
one on the axis of pitching. The hinge allows you to orient the camera for
shooting in both and landscape. This support is the alternative to the now
historic Picavet leveling system used in KAP contexts. TecnoFly 2008 designs and
manufactures tilting supports proportionate to the camera to be used, according
to weight and shape. As simple as it appears to be, the tilting support solves
many problems for anchoring the cameras to the kite's cable, it is very fast to
be connected and doesn't have wires that can intertwine during the preparation
of the launch. The support is made of aluminum with a flat profile, to whose
upper end is mounted a support with friction made of a PVC screw, machined in
the laboratory. For information and costs please e-mail to: info@tecnofly2008.com.
